Uta Nagel has established a reputation creating “WOW” effects for lobbies of Hotels, Restaurants and Hospitals. Transforming complex and sometimes intangible ideas into visually arresting and memorable photographic design solutions.
“Architectural Glass Design is not something one learns in School – it just evolved out of necessity! I am fascinated by Photography, Architecture and the impact of images in large spaces.” There is a need for inventive surface design in commercial spaces.
Uta started bringing photographic glass into structural design marrying the flow of space, function and aesthetics. Recognizing that the total is definitely far more than the sum of its parts. A photograph alone is a photograph but in the right environment, it becomes an inspiration.
Uta has worked in Europe and Toronto, before calling Salt Spring her favourite place to live.
