Creatures, leaves, water, dirt, sky…these are some of my earliest memories; Nature as a mystical theatre, continuously presenting infinite forms of beauty. Throughout my life, nature has been playground, classroom and sanctuary, training my attention to the miracle of life and the interconnectedness of all things. I am certain that this is how I came to photography. Just like nature, photography invites me to become intimate with my surroundings, and compels me to share what I discover. I have been having a visual conversation with the world around me, through the lens, for most of my life. Yet, every day, the world I see is brand new.
The images on display are archival pigment prints, mounted to birch panels, with cold wax and oil paint.
