My photographic trail has led me to here. It is a long trail that has been narrowing with each click of the shutter. When I look at some of my earlier work, I can see the common thread; the essence of my vision of light. It is reassuring to me that my vision is a vestigial part of my life and that even if I had never picked up a camera, I would have still seen that light; the light that comes in between; the calm quiet light that is all around us yet hidden in the wintery shadows and early morning mists. When I see that light, I raise my camera, give thanks, and press the shutter.
