In-between sky and water is the fragile landscape where nothing is perfect and everything is possible. The piece of paradise that this sand strip belongs to is a small island off the coast of Spain called Formentera.
Life on Formentera stood still, it is always impeccable weather and a friendly common spirit exists to greet tourists and neighbours. It was a glorious day sailing in by boat and seeing the landscape appear with all the umbrellas and the water as blue as the sky.
Formentera has become a metaphor for Life for me – like the sand strip of land in-between sky and water – our human condition is mostly in-between not totally up or totally down there is always a story in-between.
