Michael Levy lives & works on Salt Spring Island where he is fortunate enough to have access to the incredible diversity found in this microcosm of the BC landscape.
Michael’s work has been published in books, calendars, magazines and as fine art prints & cards. His most notable achievement to date has been a collaborative project, “Salt Spring: the people, the place”, a hardcover coffee table book published in 2004 with fellow island photographers Howard Fry and Osman Phillips.
His new book, Salt Spring: Portrait of an Island, marks his re-immersion into the photographic realm following his successful kidney transplant in the spring of 2010.
