Growing up in Pakistan and Egypt, Kate Metzger developed a deeply rooted
respect and admiration for culture and tradition. She returned to
Canada after a decade and since then has made many homes in many
places. Along her way she has found places of great beauty and
inspiration and tries to capture the art in life. Salt Spring Island
has been her home since 2005 and it continues to surprise both the
artist and her lens.
