Eric Onasick has been a digital photographer since the late 90’s, following careers as a geologist and software engineer. He has progressed from being professional to amateur, and contemplates the purpose and expression of art, how to integrate music and images, and whether reality is out there or in here. Knowing that 500 billion images were made worldwide in 2010 has refreshed his intent to condense, simplify, and discard. He works in Victoria, Salt Spring and Photoshop, with trips across Canada and abroad to maintain perspective.
