In 1979 I spent a couple of months hanging out with friends in France. I was shooting mainly B&W film using a Contax camera with a 50mm Zeiss lens. I took lots of street photos and of the few colour images I shot I’ve always liked this one. It seemed unusual to see this plaza deserted except for this one woman and her dog.
