As a result, the work I&#8217;m hired to do is often very much driven by the client&#8217;s needs and directions. So, I often explore more abstract and visually &#8216;pointless&#8217; imagery for my own creative energies.<\/p>\n<p>The images I&#8217;ve chosen to include in Photosynthesis this year are from a recent trip to France, and they&#8217;re more street photographs of Paris and Parisiennes. It&#8217;s not an area I&#8217;ve done much work in since my early years studying photography, so it was a great exploration for myself to rediscover the loose and spontaneous energy on the street.
