Will Daten\u00e9<\/strong> was born in Aachen, Germany in 1948 and moved with his family to
\nNew York City when he was 10 years of age. He has lived in Canada since 1968.
\nWill’s photography career has spanned over three decades. He started his career
\nin fashion photography in New York City. In recent years he has focused on Stock
\nimages for world-wide distribution. Will is currently represented by: Age
\nFotostock (Spain\/New York); First Light (Toronto); Superstock (Florida). His
\nbackground also includes teaching in the Professional Photography Certificate
\nProgram at North Island College, as well as Continuing Education Photography
\nCourses at Camosun College.<\/p>\n

In addition to his photography, Will has a background in product marketing and
\ndesign. In the 1990s he was European Sales Manager for Papa Geppettos, a toy
\ncompany based in Victoria.<\/p>\n

Will’s trademark is high impact commercial images. He has mastered the knack
\nfor recording inventive images that are playful and whimsical but have a
\nsignificant impact. His work is expressed using strong, expressive visuals that
\ninstantly capture the viewer’s attention. Using color and compelling composition,
\nhis images display his unique genius for portraying the remarkable in the
\nseemingly mundane.<\/p>\n
